The Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce will host the 2016 World Championship Gumbo Cookoff Saturday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 9, in New Iberia. This tasty event takes place annually the second weekend of October. Attendees can try delicious food like crawfish etoufee, fried alligator sausage, and the best gumbo in the world while also enjoying Cajun and zydeco music.
