Various locations throughout the Atchafalaya Swamp
The Boy Scouts will be returning to the swam Oct. 29 for the 7th annual Atchafalaya Basin Sweep. This yearly trash clean-up service event has removed more than 123,000 pounds of trash from the waterways of the swamp since 2010. This event is free and open to all Scouts and volunteers.
