Instead of sitting on the sidewalk in front of a box store waiting to buy something on the Friday after Thanksgiving, join Pack & Paddle on the Vermilion River to breathe in the beauty and tranquility of this fabulous local paddling spot. Owners John and Becky Williams envision this trip as a great way to get families together to make memories and enjoy time together. The 4-mile route will take the group from Heymann Park to Rotary Pointt. After arriving at Rotary Point, Pack & Paddle will shuttle all the drivers back up to their cars in a rented bus. This event is free and open to the public. Participants must bring their own canoe or kayak. Pack & Paddle has a limited number of rental boats available, but these must be reserved in advance and picked up a day or two before the trip.
