Mall of Louisiana
Baton Rouge, LA
The Historic New Orleans Collection and the West Baton Rouge Museum host a “Restoration Roadshow” with local institutions Sunday, Oct. 16, to provide free consultations on flood-damaged items in response to the recent flooding that devastated south Louisiana. This free event will take place at the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge from noon to 4 p.m. inside the mall near the entrance to Dillard’s. Individuals can bring their flood-damaged belongings--or simply their questions--to area conservators and museum professionals for free consultations on how items can be preserved. Attendees will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
