The third annual Al Berard Music Festival will take place from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at NUNU Arts and Culture Collective. This fundraising event benefits the Al Berard Memorial Music Fund at Community Foundation of Acadiana. Funds are used to support Acadiana's unique musical culture by providing instruments, master teachers, and music scholarships to students of all ages and assist community based organizations that support the French Louisiana culture. The fund honors the late Al Berard, who was a mentor for music lovers everywhere.
