Bayou Teche Paddle Series - Cecilia to Breaux Bridge

Starting in the Fall of 2016 Pack & Paddle will host segmented paddle trips along Bayou Teche once a month for 10 months until the entire distance is completed. Participants will see magnificent live oaks, beautiful cypress and diverse bird life and more! Each segment will culminate in a planned event giving paddlers time to socialize and exchange stories of their paddling adventure.
ABOUT THIS SEGMENT:
Pack & Paddle will host segment 4 of their Bayou Teche Paddle Series Saturday, Dec. 17, from Cecilia to Breaux Bridge. Participants will meet at Pack & Paddle at 11:30 a.m. and should expect to be on the water for about 3 to 4 hours for this level 2 trip (8.71 miles). Participants should bring water or Gatorade, snacks needed before brunch and weather-appropriate clothing. After the paddle participants will enjoy a delicious dinner at Cafe des Amis. Registration is $60 (includes tandem kayak or canoe, paddles, PFDs dinner, beer and guides). One lucky paddler will win a brand new kayak from Pack & Paddle at the end of Segment 10.
