January's Les Mains Guidées (French for "the Guided Hands) workshop (mask-making party) at Vermilionville will be taught by the legendary Jackie Miller of Iota, La.
For those of you who often wait until the last minute to get your Courir costume together, this is your opportunity! Miss Jackie will provide all of the materials needed, and Vermilionville will provide mimosas and breakfast snacks. Space is limited, so reserve early. The cost is $30 per person, and you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind Cajun Mardi Gras screen mask that you can either wear in a courir or hang on your wall to display as a work of art.
