Pack & Paddle will host a memorable Mother's Day morning paddle down the waters of the Bayou Teche. The group will be paddling an amazing section of the Teche (from beautiful Parks, La. to historic St. Martinville) amongst cypress trees and hard woods, nesting herons, egrets, ibises and other wading birds. This region also annually hosts some of the highest nesting concentrations of southern bald eagles, red-shouldered hawks, barred owls, Acadian flycatchers and prothonotary warblers. In St. Martinville participants and their mothers will enjoy mimosas on the bank. An optional meal is only a short walk away at St. John's Restaurant where Pack & Paddle has reserved a table.
