Explore Lake Martin in a whole new way! Join Pack & Paddle for a fun Stand Up Paddleboard trip. Trip Leader and avid SUP'er Rachel Adams, will guide this evening trip at one of our favorite paddling destinations!
The group will take a short paddle tour through the cypress and tupelo trees as the sun sets on Lake Martin. This is a great way to get some extra paddleboaring practice and meet new friends. Pack & Paddle will provide stand up paddleboards, all the gear, and basic tips to improve your SUP'ing, but participants should bring their own headlamp.
Stand up paddle boarding (SUP), or in the Hawaiian language Hoe he'e nalu, is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage. The sport gives the paddler a higher viewpoint, a strong 'core' workout and a is fun new way to explore our waterways. SUP'ing is perfect for not only exploring but also cruising, working out, fishing and distance paddling.
