Tour the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium's premier research vessels from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19 - 21 at the Mississippi River dock in Baton Rouge. This special "Meet the Fleet" event will feature two research vessels, the Pelican and the Acadiana, which are owned and operate dby LUMCON. This event is open to the public. The vessels' crews will offer tours, and LUMCON scientists and education staff will display hands-on activities and provide information about marine research at booths set up dockside.
