Visit Vermilionville Sunday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for this free event that explores how the Creole community maintains its heritage. There will be activities for the whole family such as crafts and games for children, boat tours and canoeing, live music by Jeffery Broussard & The Creole Cowboys,a juré demonstration by the Broussard Sisters, a Creole Jam open to all levels, film showings, cooking demonstrations, dance lessons, sharing circles and more.
