Join the West Baton Rouge for "Mississippi River and Tributaries: Managing the Mighty Mississippi," a lunchtime lecture with Ricky Boyett, Chief of Public Affairs, United States Army Corps of Engineers. The Mississippi River Basin is the third largest drainage basin in the world, including all or parts of 31 states and two Canadian provinces. This presentation will examine the Mississippi and Tributaries project and its systems approach to river flood management that is unique to South Louisiana.
