Get out your Zydeco boots, your Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and get ready for the Zydeco Tropical Cruise Dance featuring Wayne & Same Ol 2 Step. The event takes place in Grand Coteau, but the atmosphere will transport you to the ease of a tropical vacation.
Wayne & Same Ol’ Two Step is firmly grounded in the Opelousas-Lawtell tradition. Mentored by the legendary Roy Carrier, founder and bandleader, Wayne Singleton, has toured throughout the United States and Europe, playing festivals and clubs including Blast from the Bayou at Strawberry Park and the Saulieu Cajun & Zydeco Festival in France.
Admission is $10 per person in advance or $12 at the door. All proceeds from this event fund renovation of the Historic St. Peter Claver Hall in Grand Coteau.
