Dutch oven cooking is a significant part of Louisiana's culinary past. The Cajun Creole Cookers, a chapter of the Louisiana Dutch Oven Society, will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site for cooking demonstrations and sampling. Participants will learn the fine art of Dutch oven cooking, sample some great food and enjoy a unique family-oriented outing.
