Teche-Vermilion Watershed Symposium: Building on Regional Progress

8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Vermilionville 300 Fisher Road Lafayette, Louisiana 70508 The Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association will hold its fourth annual River Symposium Friday, Sept. 8, at Vermilionville. This year's theme is centered on working collaboratively within the larger community to make a regional effort toward water management, water quality and quality of life. Cost is $27.00 or $5.00 for students. Lunch will be provided. If you need CEU credits, ask for details. SUNSET RIVER CRUISE This river cruise will depart from Beaver Park at 5 P.M. and head toward Ruffino’s on the River. Participants must purchase a separate $27.00 ticket for this cruise. RECEPTION AT RUFFINO'S Free reception at 7 p.m. for Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association members and symposium attendees.
