Fun event w/ battery-powered lights and decorations on canoes/kayaks for an easy 5-mile downstream night paddle-trip from the Beaver Park boat ramp to the floating dock at Camellia Bridge on Vermilion River in Lafayette.
Meet at Beaver Park boat ramp between 4 to 4:30 pm to unload, finish decorating boats, visit and enjoy treats. Drivers will shuttle vehicles down to the take-out at the small city park by Camellia Bridge. The paddle will begin shortly after sunset, and a small celebration potluck Christmas party will take place at the take-out
