Come discover how various local organizations are engaged in ensuring that future generations have the same chance we have to enjoy the planet for years to come. Bring the kids and enjoy a paddle in Vermilionville’s Petit Bayou and recycled art displays, in addition to various craft and activity stations. Be sure to visit the Cooking School for demonstrations, enjoy music in the Performance Center by Cedryl Ballou & The Zydeco Trendsetters and Lafayette Rhythm Devils.
Grab a bite to eat at La Cuisine de Maman, and relax with a free yoga class. Bring unwanted clothing items and books to donate or trade in at the “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Swap” (items remaining at the end of the day will be donated to a charity). Additionally, there will be a clothing “Upcycling” station. On your way home, take a free tree with you and begin your own stewardship legacy for the future.
