Steven Fullen, Executive Director, will speak about the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area ("ANHA") as a unique model in heritage development and ecotourism, a fascinating and exotic place here in the middle of the U.S.
Within Louisiana’s boundaries, a wealth of cultural, educational, and recreational programs that preserve our past and enrich our present can be found. State residents have deemed these habitats and traditions historically significant and deserving of preservation.
Running the length of the Atchafalaya River and covering a total of 14 parishes, the ANHA delivers quality programming to safeguard the cultural, natural, and historic gems of Louisiana’s own “Foreign Country.”
