Baton Rouge's own traditional jazz band, the Florida Street Blowhards, is breaking out the brass again this month at Poor Boy Lloyd's.
These gentlemen possess an extensive repertoire of New Orleans-style jazz, allowing listeners to tap their toes along to all of the favored classics, without having to navigate the Bourbon Street traffic to get to Preservation Hall.
