This yearly festival, commemorating the infamous "Sandbar Duel" during which American icon Jim Bowie sustained life-threatening injuries, has grown to become one of the largest festivals in Concordia Parish.
Held on the beautiful banks of the Mississippi River in Vidalia, the festival features unique local arts and crafts, great festival and Louisiana foods, State Championship BBQ cook-off (KCBS Sanctioned), and live entertainment that you will not want to miss!
