Calling all adventurers! This paddle, in an area just north of Morgan City, is a great spot for sightings of the Southern Bald Eagles that winter here. The combination of shallow lakes for fishing, lots of tall trees for nesting and a confluence of moving waters make this an ideal habitat to spot these majestic birds. Be sure to bring your binoculars!
Registrants will meet at Pack & Paddle and carpool to the launch site (1 hr. drive) Those who live closer to Morgan City can meet the party at Doiron's landing at 10 a.m. Instructions will be included in a confirmation email sent upon registration.
