Volunteers are being sought for an annual program that removes abandoned crab traps from local waterways. Since 2004, crews have removed more than 37,000 derelict traps from local waterways, with 4,000 collected last year alone.
Volunteers with boats that can be used for collections are especially needed. Wet gear, gloves needed.
