Celebrate Kids to Parks Day with CREATE Lafayette, and Lafayette Parks and Recreation. Celebrated annually in May, Kids to Parks Day is a national day of play that connects kids and families with their local, state, and national parks. By discovering our public lands, kids across the country can enjoy outdoor recreation, learn STEM and history and embrace their important role as park stewards.
From river boat rides, live music and family-style field day activities, Lafayette’s Kids to Parks Day is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy our parks with the whole family.
