Interested in creating a unique gift for someone special? Want to learn new acrylics painting techniques?
Join us on Wednesday, November 9 in the Arts Council's annex room at the Poydras Center at 6:00 pm!
There will be several cardinals available so you will have your choice of birds and background.
A 4x6 gesso coated wood painting pallet will be provided, should you desire to paint on canvas you can either bring your own or can purchase a 4x6 gallery wrap from Terry. There are some brushes and paints in the room but cannot assume that all needed colors and brushes are available. Please bring your own supplies below if you have them.
Acrylic paint colors needed:
(1) Green – Pine green or sap green or your choice.
(2) Blue, your choice if you want a sky in your painting
(3) Alizarin Crimson
(4) Cad Red Medium or what you have
(5) Cad Orange
(6) Cad Yellow
(7) Burnt Umber
( Burnt Sienna
(9) White
(10)Black
Brushes
(1) 3/8 or 1⁄2 flat
(2) 1⁄4” Filbert could substitute a dagger brush for this one as well
(3) Small liner brush #20 works best but a #10 could also work
(4) Small round brush
If you don’t have small liner brushes don’t run out and purchase, Terry will bring several.
