Baton Rouge Maker Faire

Lights, Camera, Make! Join us in celebrating another year of curiosity and creativity at the 12th annual Baton Rouge Maker Faire on Saturday, October 18, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Main Library at Goodwood. This year’s theme focuses on filmmaking, celebrating all the makers behind the scenes on movie sets! Our headlining event will be a live film score performed by Breadstick Space Opera with Foley sound effects by Clay Achee and company, set to a classic Buster Keaton short film. Come experience this unique screening and other exciting activities such as: • Live Stunt Demonstrations • Animatronics Seminar • Panelists of Local Filmmakers • Green Screen and Costume Activities • Writers Room Simulation • Making of all kinds! Maker Faire is a venue for “makers” to demonstrate hobbies, experiments, projects, and more!
