Grand Réveil Acadien- St. Martin Parish Host Day

Grand Réveil Acadien (The Great Acadian Awakening) is a nine-day, statewide celebration honoring the language, music, history, culture, and lasting influence of the Acadian people in the heart of Acadiana. Nearly all events are free and open to the public.
This special gathering is more than a festival—it’s a chance to embrace the spirit of renewal, learn from our past, and preserve our rich heritage for generations to come. We invite Acadians and friends from near and far to join us in Louisiana for nine days of celebrating our unique, vibrant, and living culture.
St. Martin Parish Host Day will be held on Thursday, October 16th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM in downtown historic St. Martinville, near the Acadian Memorial Museum. The day’s festivities will include:
- Live music
- A Tintamarre with local French immersion students
- Free jambalaya
- Educational and promotional booths
- Cooking demonstrations
