Children's Mardi Gras

The Courir des Enfants is the old Mardi Gras tradition of chasing a chicken or chickens around town and collecting gumbo ingredients from residents. A parent or Guardian must accompany children. The run will conclude with gumbo and music at Teche Center for the Arts
