Shadows-on-the-Teche Farm Fest

Event Date: September 24th, 2026

Kick off festival weekend with Farm Fest! This family-friendly event will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Shadows-on-the-Teche.

Enjoy a variety of old-fashioned carnival games (open until 7 p.m.) and the Rylan’s Ranch Petting Zoo where you’ll get a chance to see baby goats, baby pigs, fluffy chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Balloon artists will use their talents to create funky hats, animals, flowers, and more! Decorate a donut with our friends at The Frosted Apron and have your copy of Stacey Dempsey’s children’s book signed by the author!

Attendees can enjoy festival fare along with cold beverages, including beer and wine.

Live entertainment provided by 2NL Jazz Combo from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Andy Smith from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Admission is $10 per family. Tickets for food and games available for purchase. Minors must be accompanied by adults.
