06.01.23	Annual Krotz Springs Sportsmen’s Heritage Festival The Annual Krotz Springs Sportsmen’s Heritage Festival was voted best New Event for 2013 by the Louisiana Association of Fairs & Festivals.
06.03.23	Donaldsonville Wing Fest The Donaldsonville Chamber of Commerce Launches First Wing Fest to be held on June 4 from 1pm to 9pm at Crescent Park on Veterans Memorial Drive. The event will feature a team wing cookoff, food, music and fun and of course WINGS, WINGS, WINGS!
06.09.23	St. Landry BBQ Fest St. Landry Parish Government is excited to announce the return of the highly anticipated 2nd Annual BBQ Festival. The three-day event will be held from June 9 through June 11, 2023, at the Yambilee Grounds in Opelousas, Louisiana.
06.17.23	Juneteenth Folklife Celebration The Juneteenth Folklife Celebration highlights the folk art, heritage, and traditions of African-American culture in St. Landry Parish.

1st Saturdays	Kafé Kréyol-la To celebrate its love for both the French and Creole cultures of our community, the West Baton Rouge Museum is hosting this monthly program to anyone seeking a space to speak, learn, or simply support the Louisiana Creole language and culture. Of course, refreshments will be provided since you can’t have a true South Louisiana gathering without some coffee and something to snack on while you chat. The program is every first Saturday of the month, 10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon, open to the public, and FREE of charge.
Saturdays	Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market The Market serves as the premier venue for seasonal, farm-based products, and artisanal creations, offered by local producers, artists and vendors in a celebratory atmosphere of community, enrichment and entrepreneurism, created through the mutual support of its members and patrons. Every Saturday, 8 am - 12 pm!
Saturdays	Cajun Jam Session Vermilionville's weekly Cajun Jam is led by some of the area’s finest musicians. The free jam is held in the Performance Center of Vermilionville and is open to all skill levels - beginner to professional. Admission is FREE for the jam only and does not include entry to the park. Every Saturday, 1 pm - 3 pm!
Saturdays	Teche Area Farmers Market Fresh locally grown produce, arts & crafts, jams & jellies, preserves, baked goods, yard art and much more. Every Saturday, 7 am - 11 am!
