10.06.21	Junior Farmers Market In conjunction with the Teche Area Farmer's Market, the junior market invites youth ages 8 to 17 to participate in activities that reflect the culture and economy of New Iberia.
10.06.21	New Iberia City Park Holiday Vendor & Craft Event Start your holidays at the park with fun activities for the kids, food trucks and many vendors to shop from indoors and outdoors, as well as pictures with Santa.
10.06.21	Telling the Full History: Shadow Work Professor Kenetha Harrington will present a talk entitled "Shadow Work: The Secret lives of an Enslaved Community on a Louisiana Sugar Plantation."

10.16.21	Boudin Cook-Off & Bacon Festival First dreamt up by University of Louisiana at Lafayette history professor Robert Carriker, Lafayetteâ€™sÂ Boudin Cook-OffÂ was established as a means of showcasing the talents of boudin makers from across the state.
10.20.21	Howe Institute Marker Unveiling and Symposium The Iberia African American Historical Society will unveil a state historical marker at the Iberia Parish Courthouse (300 Iberia St., New Iberia). The marker will commemorate Howe Institute, one of the early Iberia Parish Schools for Blacks, and Booker T.
10.21.21	Rougarou Fest South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center presents 2021 Rougarou Fest!
10.27.21	Markets at Ramada Grinchmas Holiday Market Join Blessing New Iberia for Small Business Saturday and support many local small businesses. Vendors will be selling handmade items, food, fashion and more.
10.28.21	Sounds of the Season Free Christmas concert by the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra presented by the Iberia Cultural Resources Association

1st Saturdays	Kafé Kréyol-la To celebrate its love for both the French and Creole cultures of our community, the West Baton Rouge Museum is hosting this monthly program to anyone seeking a space to speak, learn, or simply support the Louisiana Creole language and culture. Of course, refreshments will be provided since you can’t have a true South Louisiana gathering without some coffee and something to snack on while you chat. The program is every first Saturday of the month, 10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon, open to the public, and FREE of charge.
Saturdays	Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market The Market serves as the premier venue for seasonal, farm-based products, and artisanal creations, offered by local producers, artists and vendors in a celebratory atmosphere of community, enrichment and entrepreneurism, created through the mutual support of its members and patrons. Every Saturday, 8 am - 12 pm!
Saturdays	Cajun Jam Session Vermilionville's weekly Cajun Jam is led by some of the area’s finest musicians. The free jam is held in the Performance Center of Vermilionville and is open to all skill levels - beginner to professional. Admission is FREE for the jam only and does not include entry to the park. Every Saturday, 1 pm - 3 pm!
Saturdays	Teche Area Farmers Market Fresh locally grown produce, arts & crafts, jams & jellies, preserves, baked goods, yard art and much more. Every Saturday, 7 am - 11 am!
