| 1st Saturdays | Kafé Kréyol-la To celebrate its love for both the French and Creole cultures of our community, the West Baton Rouge Museum is hosting this monthly program to anyone seeking a space to speak, learn, or simply support the Louisiana Creole language and culture. Of course, refreshments will be provided since you can’t have a true South Louisiana gathering without some coffee and something to snack on while you chat. The program is every first Saturday of the month, 10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon, open to the public, and FREE of charge. |
| Saturdays | Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market The Market serves as the premier venue for seasonal, farm-based products, and artisanal creations, offered by local producers, artists and vendors in a celebratory atmosphere of community, enrichment and entrepreneurism, created through the mutual support of its members and patrons. | Saturdays | Cajun Jam Session Vermilionville's weekly Cajun Jam is led by some of the area’s finest musicians. The free jam is held in the Performance Center of Vermilionville and is open to all skill levels - beginner to professional. Admission is FREE for the jam only and does not include entry to the park. Every Saturday, 1 pm - 3 pm! |
